As we scramble to finish the programs and efforts of 2015, AIA Eastern Ohio is already looking forward to the 2016 programs. Scheduled for Febrauary 10, 2015, AIA Eastern Ohio, in cooperation with The Builders Association, will provide a program on project delivery methods. The program is scheduled to take place at the Stambaugh Auditorium and will focus on the variety of delivery methods available under construction reform and the impact and concerns with each. The program is under development and more information will be made available as keynote presenters are finalized.
Project Delivery methods within Ohio changed with revisions to state law as more a wider range of options were made available to government entities through the Ohio Facilities Construction Commission. Construction Reform resulted in three specific delivery methods. These include: General Contracting, Construction Manager at Risk and Design Build.
Watch for more information and opportunities to register for the program in early 2016.
