As everyone knows, the NCARB IDP  program has focused on experiences in number of very defined practice areas.  With the change planned to take place June 29th of next year, there is time for those currently working toward licensure to plan your transition to the new format.  By taking a little time now, you can minimize the hours or sections affected by this participant focused realignment.  To find out more on the changes coming this June, read "What You Need to Know about the Overhauled IDP" at NCARB.org

There are a lot of changes taking place with the IDP and ARE.  To help plan your transition, visit ncarb.org and plan your personal transition to ARE 5.0.  Here are a few links to help you plan your journey:

5 Tips to Help You Plan for ARE 5.0

The ARE Transition Calculator is in the process of going live.  With more than 38,000 individuals actively involved in the IDP program, this calculator will assist record holders in planning their next steps.  While there are changes in the experience areas, record holders should be aware that the hours earned will have a one to one relationship in the new format.  Record holders with exemptions who will not complete their hours prior to June 29th are urged to review their record with Customer Service.
